Koondoola Primary School

Co-educational public school for Kindergarten to Year 6, known as one of the most culturally diverse schools in the state and offers Intensive English Programs for migrant children.

Koondoola Primary School is located approximately 17 kilometres from the Perth CBD in the City of Wanneroo and has an enrolment of 310 students.

Offering one of the most unique educational environments, it brings together children from a wide range of backgrounds, languages and cultures. To add to this, they have an on-site Intensive English Centre and a close relationship with Burbridge School for children with Special Needs. Koondoola Primary School is dedicated to celebrating inclusivity as a way of life for the Koondoola school community.

Over 75% of their students come from a language background other than English making Koondoola the most culturally diverse school in the state. Koondoola is one of 8 primary schools in Perth which offer an Intensive English Program for newly arrived children to Australia.
