Description
Kyffins Reserve Mulwala is a serene getaway located on the banks of Lake Mulwala in New South Wales, Australia.
It offers visitors magnificent views of the lake and memorable experiences.
The reserve can be accessed through Corowa Road, and it is easily reachable by car or on foot. The original road had to be deviated during the construction of the weir, and the road from Mulwala to Yarrawonga was realigned to avoid possible flooding.
One of the main attractions of Kyffins Reserve Mulwala is the opportunity for fishing. With over one kilometer of shoreline, it is a perfect spot for fishing enthusiasts. The reserve also provides a tranquil environment and beautiful views, making it a great escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There are walking tracks, including a three-kilometer track starting from Owen Bridge Reserve, which offers breathtaking views along the way.
For those who love camping, Kyffins Reserve Mulwala is an ideal destination. The reserve has amazing bush camping sites where visitors can set up camp and relax amidst the beautiful scenery. The Summer season (December to February) is the busiest time of the year, with excellent weather for camping and outdoor activities.
Kyffins Reserve Mulwala was named after Arthur Kiffins, whose farm was resumed to build the new road that is now Spring Drive.
