Lake Canobolas Reserve

Nestled at the foot of Mount Canobolas, Lake Canobolas Reserve Nashdale welcomes guests to enjoy the stunning scenery surrounding this tranquil lake.

The eastern bank features the Apex Adventure Playground for kids and the Lakeside Kiosk & Cafe. Picnic areas, barbecues, and fishing spots are also available. The reserve's walking track allows nature lovers to appreciate Australian wildlife and the serenity of the location. Visitors can also see the recently restored Old Pumphouse, a 20th-century industrial architecture example. The reserve is open daily from early morning until sunset, and visitors should check beforehand for available activities. To reach the reserve, take the Cargo Road from Orange city centre towards Mount Canobolas. Dogs are allowed but must be on a lead.
