Located in the heart of New South Wales, this jackaroo and jillaroo school offers a five-day program designed to teach you all the skills required to live and work on Outback stations.

The days at Leconfield Kootingal are filled with exciting lessons on horse care and riding, whip cracking, lassoing and cattle work. You will also have the opportunity to learn the art of Natural Horsemanship, popularly known as "horse whispering." This method uses the horse's own language to foster communication between you and the horse, leading to a unique partnership development between horse rider and horse.

Leconfield Kootingal is located at Kootingal, which is just 20 minutes north of Tamworth, New South Wales. The school will arrange for a bus to pick you up on Monday mornings in Tamworth and return you to the same location by Friday afternoon.
