Description
Little Beach is a secluded cove located in Bouddi National Park, Gosford, Central Coast.
It offers a picturesque shorefront and is popular for camping and relaxing with family and friends. Accessing the beach involves a 750-meter walk on a bush path, suitable for prams and small children.
Visitors to Little Beach can enjoy a variety of activities suitable for all ages. They can picnic and relax on the expansive grassy areas, fish, surf, or explore the area through bushwalking. While swimming is not common due to the rocky beach, visitors love playing and jumping over the stream and walking on the rocks along the shore.
Little Beach provides an excellent camping ground for nature lovers and surfers. There are six tent-only and unpowered spots right beside the beach. Visitors must carry their camping equipment, food, and water on the walking trail, making it a remote camping experience. Booking a site ahead of time is essential, especially during the popular summer season.
To reach Little Beach, visitors can take either the bush track or the fire trail. The bush track is more attractive, taking you through a lovely rainforest patch and over a little bridge with a beautiful creek running under it.
Little Beach is also part of the Bouddi Coastal Walk, a popular trail that connects it to other scenic areas. The trail is 1.7 km to Macmasters Beach on the northern side and 3.5 km to Maitland Bay and 6.5 km to Putty Beach on the southern side. The section between Little Beach and Maitland Bay is strenuous but scenic, while the section between Maitland Bay and Putty Beach is relatively easy. Visitors can stop for a swim at Maitland
