Description
Little Murray River is a beautiful anabranch of the Murray River, located in the Mallee district of north-western Victoria, Australia.
It is known for its exceptional beauty and unique features. The river begins near Fish Point and flows northwest, passing through lush landscapes and joining the Loddon River before rejoining the Murray River near Swan Hill. It descends 17 meters over its 46-kilometer course and encloses Pental Island. The river is traditionally known as "Parnimilli" by the Wemba-Wemba clan of Aboriginal people and is also called the "Marraboor River." Two bridges cross the Little Murray River, one in Swan Hill and one on Fish Point Road. It is a destination that offers natural beauty and tranquility, with breathtaking views and unique features that make it a natural wonder.
