Mabel's, located at 66 Tory Street in Te Aro, Wellington, New Zealand, is a family-owned restaurant that serves authentic Burmese cuisine.
The restaurant is named after Marlar Boon's grandmother, Mabel, who opened one of the first Burmese restaurants in New Zealand in the 1970s, Monsoon. Marlar, Mabel's granddaughter, opened Mabel's in her honour, continuing the family tradition of serving authentic Burmese cuisine to Wellingtonians.
