Manakau PurePod

Manakau PurePod is a luxurious glass eco-cabin located in a remote and stunning location, 20 minutes inland from Kaikoura and 2.5 hours from Christchurch.

The glass pod is situated in a vast landscape with perfect views of the mighty Seaward Kaikoura Mountain Range, including Mt Fyffe. The pod is set in a rugged farm paddock scattered with native bush and tussock, providing a unique and peaceful experience. The accommodation is off-the-grid, providing a chance to disconnect from the world and enjoy the natural surroundings. Despite the off-the-grid concept, the pod is furnished in style and features everything needed for a comfortable stay. The glass walls and ceiling provide a 360-degree view of the surrounding landscape, allowing guests to immerse themselves in nature. The pod is equipped with a kitchenette, a bathroom with a shower, a king-size bed, and a telescope for stargazing. The pod is powered by solar energy and has a composting toilet. The nightly rate for Manakau PurePod is the same as all other PurePods, excluding Stewart Island. There are two PurePods located on the same farm, Manakau PurePod and Kahutara PurePod, which are separate and have different settings and views.
