Description
Mangamuka Summit is a beautiful scenic reserve located in Northland, New Zealand, south of Kaitaia.
The reserve is home to the Raetea Forest and Mangamuka Gorge, which features huge towering trees and clear rocky bottom streams. The summit is accessible via State Highway 1, which crosses the Mangamuka Ranges, and a sign at the summit gives the elevation as 4383 metres, which is 659m higher than Aoraki Mt Cook.
