The trail spans 7.5 kilometers and includes two suspension bridges that symbolize the merging of Indigenous and non-Indigenous cultures.

The weather is warm and pleasant during this time, with less chance of rain compared to other seasons. Additionally, visitors should note that during National Reconciliation Week, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community recognizes the Wangaratta Citizen of the Year.
