Marramarra National Park

Marramarra National Park is a protected national park located in the Hawkesbury region of northwestern Sydney, New South Wales.

It spans over 11,785 hectares and is bordered by the Hawkesbury River to the north and Berowra Creek to the east. The park can be accessed via Wisemans Ferry or Galston Gorge and is administered by Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park.

The park offers a diverse range of environments, including mangrove communities along Marramarra Creek and drier sclerophyll scrub along the ridges. While there are no dedicated walking tracks, access is provided by service roads and fire trails that often run alongside power lines.

Marramarra National Park holds cultural significance as it was a traditional area for the Aboriginal people of Darug. Visitors can still find evidence of their traditional way of life, such as rock engravings, cave art, grinding grooves, scarred trees, and stone arrangements.
