Established in 1992, directors Melanie Marshall and Kathleen Kusinski have instilled into MKDC the following values: design excellence, environmental responsibility and strict adherence to budget and time lines. This attitude to design has led to MKDC’s position as one of Perth’s most successful and respected interior design practices. This success is often recognised by our peers.

Our work features in many leading interior design journals and we are regular recipients of design awards for which we are very proud. While we welcome industry recognition, of greater importance to us are the positive things our clients say about their workspaces.

We have a policy of environmental responsibility. We understand and use sustainable materials innovatively. We feel this approach has strengthened our design skills.

MKDC also manage the project delivery process which means we have a forensic approach to detail. We employ best practice principles and a process of review and quality compliance, ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget. This acceptance of responsibility extends to finding the most environmentally sustainable solutions for each project.
