Formed in 2008, Mining Technicians Group Australia began working on the first autonomous trucking (Autonomous Haulage System - AHS) and communications network deployment into the Pilbara region. Since then, MTGA has been involved in multiple AHS projects across Western Australia and overseas. MTGA provides customised power solutions that meet varied customer needs. They specialise in mining system technologies and communications within the mining industry with a huge range of products, including custom design communications skids and hubs, surveillance trailers, communication huts and masts, base stations, and autonomous vehicle technology. Designed and manufactured to Australian design requirements (ADR) from the ground up, the products can easily handle rugged environments and are durable, long lasting, reliable, and cost effective.
