Description
The Mintaro to Martindale Hall Short Walk is a popular attraction for those interested in South Australia's heritage. Martindale Hall, a Georgian style mansion, was built in 1880 by Edmund Bowman Jr. and designed by architect Ebenezer Gregg. The Hall has 32 rooms, a large cellar, and various recreational areas. The estate changed hands over the years, with John Andrew Tennant Mortlock leaving it to the University of Adelaide in his will. The Hall is now managed by the Department for Environment
Despite these developments, the Mintaro to Martindale Hall Short Walk remains a must-visit attraction for those interested in South Australia's history and heritage.
