Description
The Moama Botanic Gardens in Moama is a 21st-century designed garden that offers a variety of gardens and stunning plant species.
Visitors can explore the different gardens, including the formal entrance garden and settlers' garden. The dry billabong is home to beautiful Australian flora. There are also relaxing areas, such as the vine-covered arbour and lawns shaded by iron bark trees for picnics.
The Moama Botanic Gardens is open year-round from 7 a.m. to sunset. While it is enjoyable to visit at any time, spring is the best time to see the flowers in full bloom.
To get to the Moama Botanic Gardens, visitors can take the Cobb Highway. There is ample parking available for those arriving by car. It is also a pleasant walk from the town centre and conveniently located next to the Moama Adventure Playpark, which offers barbecue facilities and toilets for visitors to use.
