Although the Moondah Beach is a great place for swimming, it is best to swim when the tide is low, as the channel is deep, and there are some rip holes. Moondah Beach is not patrolled, so swimmers must take extra caution when swimming in the water.
Moondah Beach is easily accessible and can be reached by car or public transport. If travelling by car, you can access the beach from either Sturio Parade or from a small off-street parking area located at the corner of Earimil Drive and Kunyung Road. If coming by public transport, take the train to Frankston Station and then take bus route 775 to Earimil Drive and Kunyung Road.
