The best time to visit the Mount Kaputar Summit Lookout is during the mild summer months of December to February, when the weather is warm and sunny.
Getting to the Mount Kaputar Summit Lookout is easy by car. Visitors should follow the Mount Kaputar summit walk towards Dawsons Spring. The summit is accessed by a wooden staircase, although it is fairly steep, so appropriate footwear is advised. There is a picnic area near the car park, providing a perfect spot for a leisurely lunch or picnic while enjoying the breathtaking scenery.
