Located 20 kilometers northeast of Mount Eccles, Mount Napier State Park is home to the towering Mount Napier, a true volcanic cone.

Established in 1987, the park now encompasses 2800 hectares of land and has plenty of activities on offer. The local Aboriginal name for Mount Napier is Tapoc, and the mountain has strong cultural significance for the Gunditjmara people. Visitors can join a guided tour to learn more about the Aboriginal history and culture of the area. One of the main attractions of the park is its many walking tracks, including the Mount Napier Walk that leads to the summit of the mountain. Camping is also available at the park, offering visitors an immersive experience in this stunning natural destination.
