The elevated viewing platform at the lookout offers 360-degree panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Mount Wooroolin Lookout is situated in a nature reserve that covers 160 acres of endangered eucalypt woodland and dry vine forest. The area is home to a variety of birdlife, some of which are endangered. The ramp leading to the viewing platform is smooth for disabled access. Mount Wooroolin Lookout is open to visitors all year round. Visitors can take advantage of the lookout’s picnic tables and wood barbecues during the day. Mount Wooroolin Lookout is located just over four kilometres west of Kingaroy. Visitors can access the lookout via a narrow sealed road leading to the summit.
