Description
Mundy Regional Park, located on the western edge of the Darling Scarp, offers stunning views of the Swan Coastal Plain, Perth city skyline, and surrounding suburbs.
The park spans over 56 hectares and is managed by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions.
One of the highlights of the park is Lesmurdie Falls, a magnificent waterfall formed by Lesmurdie Brook cascading over the Scarp. The falls are surrounded by lush riparian and heath vegetation, creating a beautiful natural experience. Throughout the park, you can also find impressive Wandoo, Jarrah, and Marri trees.
Mundy Regional Park offers a variety of well-marked walking and running trails, ranging from easy to challenging. It is a popular destination for walking, trail running, and nature hikes. Some sections of the park also allow for horse riding and mountain biking.
Don't forget to visit the gravity hill near the car park on Palm Terrace. This unique spot creates an optical illusion where gravity seems to run in reverse or sideways.
Whether you're seeking a peaceful escape to enjoy nature's beauty or a challenging workout, Mundy Regional Park has something for everyone.
