Description
National Pass Wentworth Falls is a remarkable walking track that offers breathtaking views of the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park.
This walking track begins at Wentworth Falls picnic area, located in the heart of the national park, and takes you through some of the most beautiful natural wonders of the region.
The adventure begins at Jamison lookout, where you can take in spectacular views of the Jamison Valley below. From there, you'll follow the track along the cliff edges, offering you unparalleled views of Wentworth Falls as it plunges down the valley. The track then takes you to the historic Grand Stairway, built by hand in the early 1900s, with picks, shovels, and dynamite. Descend the stairs, and you'll be rewarded with a view of the Valley of the Waters, which is home to several beautiful waterfalls, including Empress, Silvia, and Lodore Falls.
Once you leave the valley, the track takes you through dense forests of eucalyptus, mopokes, and flowering shrubs, creating an enchanting atmosphere as you appreciate the natural beauty around you. Finally, the track will lead you to Conservation Hut, where you can rest while enjoying a cup of tea.
