New Zealand Glassworks – Te Whare Tuhua O Te Ao (NZG) is a national center for glass art located in the heart of old Whanganui, New Zealand.
It is the premier art glass gallery in Whanganui, featuring New Zealand's most respected and collected artists. The facility is open year-round and is wheelchair accessible. The interactive center entertains the greater community with hot glass demonstrations, exhibitions, education opportunities, and short course workshops.
The center is located in the old printing press building for the local newspaper The Chronicle, providing a unique environment that offers a vibrant center for artists to create, exhibit, and be inspired.
