“We have always been here.” Aboriginal peoples have lived on this Country since the Dreaming, the time of the creators.
This exhibition shares the stories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of Western Australia. It honours traditional knowledge systems, protocols and ways of communication. It is an acknowledgement of the endurance, survival and strength of all Aboriginal peoples.
There are more than 100 different cultural language groups among Aboriginal people in Western Australia. Learn about their ancestral connections, law and lore, experiences, cultures and spiritual relationships.
