Description
Ngurra Bu Wollombi welcomes you to explore the culturally significant sites of Hunter Wine Country alongside experienced Aboriginal guides.
Embark on a journey that will connect you to the traditional ceremonial practices and stories of the Wollombi and Broke Valleys. The Hunter Wine Country and its surrounding bushland are home to numerous important ceremony and lore sites. Our tours follow the traditional ceremonial journey to share the stories of the region. Mt Yengo, for instance, carries significant importance for NSW's Aboriginal community, much like Uluru does for the Central Desert people.
Our tour guides are passionate about sharing their knowledge of Aboriginal culture, practices, and tradition. We endeavour to empower and connect our visitors to knowledge, understanding, and the spirit that is within us all. Ngurra Bu's mission is to teach and share Aboriginal culture to ensure that it continues to be the oldest living culture on earth.
Our tours are currently available to book on the weekends, and if you have a group interested in a mid-week tour, please contact us directly.
Hunter Wine Country and the surrounding bushland are beautiful and worth exploring throughout the year.
