Description
North Cronulla Rock Pool is a smaller ocean bath located between Cronulla Beach and North Cronulla Beach.
It is a great spot for a relaxing dip, especially during low tide. The pool is easily accessible from Cronulla train station, making it convenient for those using public transport.
The pool is perfect for a leisurely dip in the ocean. It is shallow enough to wade through during low tide, providing a more relaxed swimming experience. Unlike the larger Cronulla Beach Rock Pool, North Cronulla Rock Pool offers a more intimate setting. After enjoying the pool, visitors can also take a stroll along the Esplanade to appreciate the scenic beauty of Cronulla.
North Cronulla Rock Pool is open year-round, but it is particularly popular in the summer months. It is open from dawn till dusk, allowing for swimming at any time of the day.
To reach North Cronulla Rock Pool, simply take the T4 Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra line to Cronulla station. From there, it is a short walk along Gerrale St, Kurnell Road, Mitchell Rd, and finally The Esplanade. The pool is located on a rocky platform, accessible via stairs. If driving, there is parking available in the area, although it can be busy during peak times.
