Norths Lookout

Norths Lookout Talmalmo is an idyllic granite platform that offers panoramic views at an altitude of approximately 1000m above sea level.

Visitors can enjoy a stunning 180-degree panoramic view of the Upper Murray Valley, the western face of Snowy Mountains, Riverina district, and the town of Holbrook. Along with the breathtaking views, visitors can also learn about the surrounding environment through the onsite interpretive board. The lookout is a great spot for birdwatchers, with frequent sightings of birds of prey. The best time to visit is during spring when the native fuchsia and common fringe myrtle are in bloom. Visitors should bring their 4WD to navigate the rough and uneven roads leading to the lookout. The lookout is easily accessible off Talmalmo Road, which can be reached by turning off Tumbarumba Road in Talmalmo newline.
