Old Palm Liquor

Old Palm Liquor is a stylish wine bar located in Brunswick East, Victoria.

The venue features a rotating shared plates menu, with an eclectic mix of dishes inspired by Chef Almay Jordaan's South African heritage. The menu includes oyster shooters, grilled octopus, and lamb ribs, among other dishes. The wine list is extensive, with over 300 low-intervention and biodynamic wines, as well as 12 tap beers. The majority of the wines on the list are low-intervention wines that have either received extended skin contact, have been aged in amphora, have little to no sulfur added to the bottle, or are several of these things all at once. The bar itself has a '70s vibe, with heavy use of timber and brown-beige hues. The decor is unique and feels like you're in a fictional ski lodge by way of an RSL, in a good way. The venue is spacious and has a relaxed atmosphere, making it a great place to unwind and enjoy a drink or meal.
