Description
The Olinda and Grey Gums Track in Silvan, Victoria is a scenic bushwalking trail that offers a mix of open and single trails.

Along the trail, visitors can enjoy lush greenery and explore the native flora and fauna. Dogs are allowed on a leash, making it a great option for pet owners. The track begins along the same route as the Messmate Track Circuit and follows signs to Grey Gum Track.
The Olinda and Grey Gums Track is open year-round, but it is recommended to visit during the cooler months when the weather is pleasant and the trail is less crowded. Spring is particularly beautiful, with wildflowers blooming in the region.
To get to the track, visitors can take the Eastern Freeway and exit at Springvale Road. From there, they can follow Wellington Road and Mt Dandenong Tourist Road to Olinda. After turning onto Silvan Road, visitors will find the entrance to the Silvan Reservoir where they can park their vehicles and start their walk.
