Experience Exceptional Degustation Dining Location and Ownership Pacifica Restaurant is a fine dining establishment located at 209 Marine Parade in Napier Central, Napier, New Zealand.

It is owned by chef Jeremy Rameka, who has worked for world-renowned chefs in Europe and his wife Rebecca, who curates the restaurant's wine list and manages the restaurant’s front of the house.

Degustation Dining Pacifica's degustation menu is designed to offer diners a unique and exciting culinary experience. Each evening, diners can enjoy a set menu of five courses with a choice between two menus: one predominantly seafood and the other a mixed menu of fresh seafood and premium New Zealand meat/game dishes. The degustation style of dining allows diners to experience not only variety but something fresh, exciting, and unpredictable, giving a sense of anticipation and trust in the chef's creative ability.

Awards and Recognition Pacifica Restaurant has been recognized as a three-hat restaurant, the highest ranking in New Zealand's Cuisine Good Food Awards, and named the best overall restaurant in 2017. These awards are a testimonial to the dedication and passion put into every dish by the chef and his team.

Future Plans The building that houses Pacifica has been put up for sale by the property owner, but Pacifica's current lease runs until 2025. Jeremy and Rebecca have announced their intention to finish up at the restaurant when their lease ends. However, they plan to open a new restaurant in the future with a similar style to Pacifica, which will provide another platform for diners to experience the chef's creative flair.

When to Visit The restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday, from 6 pm-10 pm, and reservations are required in advance.

How to Get There Pacifica Restaurant is situated on Marine Parade, the main road that runs along the beach in Napier Central. It is approximately 400 meters from Marine Parade Par 2 Mini Golf, making it a convenient spot to dine after a round of golf. The restaurant is also within walking distance of the National Aquarium of New Zealand.
