Pangerang Lookout Walk

Pangerang Lookout Walk Killawarra is an easy walking trail located in the Wangandary region.

To access the trail, follow Wangandary Road and turn onto Ridge Road. Park your car where Ferris Road and Ridge Road meet, and from there, you can access the track that leads to the Pangerang Lookout.

Once on the trail, you will follow the Management Vehicles Only track to the lookout. The formed track is easy to navigate, with a gentle slope and some low obstacles. Towards the end, it becomes moderately steep. The highlight of this walk is the uninterrupted view of the western farmland and floodplain, making it a peaceful and calming escape, especially during the fall season when the trees are vibrant with colors.

Pangerang Lookout Walk Killawarra is a year-round trail, but it is best experienced during the cooler months between March and November. It is advisable to avoid the trail during the summer months due to high temperatures that can make it challenging to enjoy the view.

To get to the trail, turn onto Ridge Road from Wangandary Road and park at the intersection of Ridge and Ferris Roads. From there, follow the track to the Pangerang Lookout.
