Te Whare Tui is a pet-friendly property that allows up to two dogs per chalet. Pets are allowed inside but not on beds or furniture, so please bring pet bedding. As the grounds are unfenced, pets should be kept inside at night to protect the local kiwi population. Te Whare Kiwi has off-road parking, a ground floor bedroom, and is smoke-free. It also features a garden/patio.

The nearest airport, Bay of Islands Airport, is located 25.5 miles away from the holiday homes. Paroa Bay Chalets is situated in a remote area, close enough to drive into Russell for dinner and within walking distance to Sage Restaurant. Guests can explore the surrounding area, including the beautiful Paroa Bay Winery, just a short walk away. Oneroa Bay Beach, an unspoiled beach, is only a 15-minute drive. Guests can also visit historic Russell, New Zealand's first capital.
