Picturesque Paradise is a small settlement located just north of Glenorchy, New Zealand.

The Glenorchy-Paradise Road is a 13-kilometer stretch of gravel road that offers stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. Visitors are advised to check road conditions before driving onto Paradise. Picturesque Paradise is one of the most popular places to explore in Glenorchy, with many Lord of the Rings locations. Visitors can hike to Lake Sylvan and enjoy activities such as horse trekking, kayaking, and jet boating. Camp Glenorchy is an eco-retreat that provides a perfect base to explore the area, with cozy log cabins and mountain views. Glenorchy is also the gateway for the Routeburn Track, one of the nine great walks of New Zealand, which is 33km long and takes 2-4 days to complete.
