Polyflor is a quality driven company whose projects include an exciting extension and upgrade to aged care facility, Amana Living.

Polyflor is covering the world with its magnificent range of floor coverings, from luxury vinyl tiles to wood planks.

The company is a market leader in commercial and domestic flooring with sales offices and warehousing throughout Australia, including Kewdale in WA.

One of Polyflor’s most recent commercial projects was the Peter Arney Home in Salter Point, part of the Amana Living aged care agency.

The brief was to reflect the Amana Living philosophy of helping residents to live the second half of their life regardless of their level of independence or mobility. The area needed to be warm and welcoming and therefore colour and texture were important factors.

Interior designer Sandy Brennan wanted to create a contemporary boutique hotel feel with a sense of luxury, so the Polyflor Expona Superplank in Whiteoak was chosen.

The product provided a safe surface with ease of maintenance, while exhibiting a natural timber look that matched the American walnut timbers and warm greys and reds in the upholstery.

The result is a home-like environment, which emanates a calm and luxurious feel.
