Description
Protesters Falls Walking Track Nightcap is a short but breathtaking walk that leads through magnificent rainforest to a spectacular waterfall.
It is an ideal destination for families and nature lovers, located in the rugged ranges of Nightcap National Park near Lismore. Named after the Terania Creek protests of the late 1970s, this track is an important habitat for endangered frogs and offers a diverse range of flora and fauna.
The waterfall along the track is nothing short of spectacular, surrounded by the sounds and sights of nature. It provides a peaceful and tranquil escape from the city, with opportunities to spot wildlife such as the rose-crowned fruit dove and the barred cuckoo-shrike. The best time to visit is during the cooler months when rainfall is high, from June to August, as the waterfall will be at its most impressive and the surroundings lush and green.
