Putta Bucca Wetlands is a public reserve located in Mudgee, central Western New South Wales, Australia.
The area is owned by Mid-Western Regional Council and is managed for the purpose of biodiversity conservation and public recreation. The wetlands are a waterbird paradise that exhibits a wide range of flora and fauna. It is an old quarry that has filled with water and is not considered to be beautiful or scenic. The wetlands cover a patch of land that includes a river loop trail that is approximately 0.8 miles long. The trail is generally considered to be an easy route and takes an average of 16 minutes to complete. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely walk while observing the various species of birds and other wildlife that inhabit the area. The wetlands are also a great place for picnics and other outdoor activities. Facilities and amenities at Putta Bucca Wetlands are limited, as the area is primarily managed for conservation purposes. Visitors should bring their own food and water, as there are no food or drink vendors in the area. The area is accessible by car and there is ample parking available for visitors.
