Description
Quinns Rocks Beach is just 30km from Perth's CBD and boasts white sand and excellent snorkelling conditions.
Quinns Rocks Beach
The beach faces southwest but is protected from high waves by the offshore reefs. The beach is patrolled by Quinns Mindarie Surf Life Saving Club, which formed in 1982. The white sand and low waves make this beach excellent for families and surfers alike. Quinn’s Rocks Beach sits just north of Mindarie Marina and is the beach of choice for anyone living on Perth’s north coast. The 9km oceanside trail is perfect for weekend strolls and there are plenty of places to grab a bite to eat and watch the waves roll from one of the sheltered spots beyond the sand.
Shark Net
The enclosure extends 85m offshore and 300m along the beachand is installed in the summer months and removed for winter. The Quinns Rock Beach shark barrier is award winning - the Aquarius Gen 2 Barrier shark net was installed in January 2017 and provides a safe swimming environment for all swimmers.
