Description
Razorback Lookout at Evans Head Township offers a breathtaking view of the NSW North coastline and the Evans Head Township from an elevation of approximately 45 metres above sea level.
The lookout is wheelchair-accessible and equipped with excellent barbecue and picnic facilities, public toilet facilities, and ample parking spaces. A new installation of binoculars allows for whale watching and viewing of the rolling hills of the hinterland. The park also has a large anchor with an interesting story dating back to the early 1900s, as well as a sculpture of the Evans Head coastline with information about the traditional custodians and headland. Razorback Lookout is open all year round, with sunrise or sunset being the best times to visit. It is easily accessible by private vehicle or bus, located just a few minutes' drive from the town centre and well signposted.
