Redbill Beach in Bicheno is a popular destination for surfers, nature enthusiasts, and families.
It is a 1km long beach located between Diamond Island spit and Redbill Point, facing eastwards into a small bay.

During low tide, you can walk out to Diamond Island, which offers picturesque views and is home to various sea birds and marine life. If you're interested in exploring Bicheno's coastline further, the 1.5km-long foreshore walking track is a popular choice. It leads from Redbill Point to Lynes Point and ends at Waubs Bay, where you can swim or simply enjoy the scenic beauty.
Bicheno attracts visitors year-round, with summer being the busiest season.
To reach Bicheno, you can drive approximately two and a half hours from Hobart via the A3 National Highway. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Launceston or Hobart or fly to Launceston airport and rent a car. Once in Bicheno, Redbill Beach is easily accessible and well signposted.
