Redlands Hill Flora and Fauna Reserve

The Redlands Hill Flora And Fauna Reserve is a natural wonder located near the beautiful town of Corowa in NSW. Spread over a vast area, the reserve boasts a Grey Box Grassy Woodlands, which are considered an Endangered Ecological Community (EEC).

The reserve is a stunning example of the region's natural beauty.

The reserve features four easy walking trails, which were developed in 1997 by the joint efforts of Corowa District Landcare and Corowa Shire. These trails are ideal for those who want to enjoy a leisurely walk in the midst of nature. The tracks range from 0.7 kilometres to 1.7 kilometres in length, making them perfect for visitors of all ages and fitness levels. Along the trails, visitors can see an abundance of native flora and fauna, and there are signs throughout the reserve to provide information about the environment, plants, and animals.

The reserve is also an excellent destination for art lovers, with information on notable artists, Tommy McRae and Tom Roberts. Tommy McRae, an Aboriginal stockman based on nearby Brocklesby Station, is renowned for his beautiful artwork, which depicts the everyday life of Aboriginal people. Tom Roberts, on the other hand, painted the famous 'Shearing the Rams' painting in a shearing shed on Brocklesby Station in 1890. A replica of the shearing shed, which burned down in 1960, is located on the reserve premises.
