Richmond River Lighthouse

The Richmond River Lighthouse, also known as Ballina Head Light and Ballina Light, is a prominent attraction located at Ballina Head, a headland in Ballina, New South Wales, Australia.

This active lighthouse was designed and built by James Barnet in 1879 and is only 6 meters high, making it much shorter than most lighthouses on the North Coast.

The Richmond River Lighthouse is one of the oldest lighthouses in New South Wales and used to guide ships into the river port.
