Rivendell, established in 1985, is proudly owned and operated by the Gruenthal family. The estate boasts acres of beautifully manicured gardens, sprawling lawns, and vineyards. Guests can enjoy tastings of the Estate wines at the spacious cellar door, which opens onto a deck with stunning views of the gardens. Alongside wine tastings, a delightful selection of pizzas and other lunch options is available. The extensive gardens are adorned with classic blooms that flourish vibrantly, attracting butterflies, birds, and beetles. For children, there is a natural playground to explore, and the winery welcomes dogs. A leveled lawn area is perfect for wedding marquees and summer sundowner concerts, while also providing a space for children to play ball with family and friends. Rivendell can be booked as an exclusive venue for private functions, weddings, and corporate events. Additionally, there are ten holiday homes on-site, offering a variety of accommodations from three-bedroom rammed earth chalets to modern four-bedroom brick houses.
