Take a stroll out to the end of Rocky Point and feast your eyes on the breathtaking views that stretch north to Illaroo and Sandon in the distance. The tracks that wind their way off into the foreshore scrub are the perfect way to explore and take in the natural beauty of the area. Be sure to follow the escarpment and end up at Illaroo. Looking south from Rocky Point affords you with a great view along the curve towards Minnie Water's main beach.
It is not advisable to swim off or around Rocky Point as it can be unsafe, unless you are doing so in a rock pool. Surfers can find reasonable beach breaks between Rocky Point and the surf club, particularly on a modest easterly swell on a mid to high tide.
