The Rundle Lantern is a unique public art installation located in Adelaide, Australia.
It covers almost 40% of a multi-story car park operated by the Adelaide City Council. Made up of 748 square panels activated by LED, the lantern is 100% green powered and serves as both an architectural structure and a display of colorful imagery.
Visitors to the Rundle Lantern can enjoy its vibrant displays both during the day and at night. The imagery changes depending on the time of year and special events, providing a unique experience for each visit. Located on the corner of Rundle and Pulteney Street, the lantern is situated in a bustling area near the popular Rundle Mall.
The Rundle Lantern is best experienced in the evening when it operates from dusk until midnight. Visitors can reach the lantern by public transportation, such as buses and trains that arrive at the Adelaide Railway Station. Those with a car can park at the Adelaide City Council's Rundle Street UPark and take a short walk to the lantern.
