Description
Salmon Haul Reserve Cronulla is a beautifully landscaped area that offers panoramic views of Port Hacking across to Bundeena and the Royal National Park.
It is a popular spot for swimming, fishing, scuba diving, and snorkeling. The reserve has a new playground, seating, picnic facilities, and soft landscaped areas. Toilet facilities are also available.
Salmon Haul Reserve Cronulla is a great fishing spot and an alternative for scuba divers and snorkelers when Oak Park is busy. It is a perfect spot to visit any time of the year, but swimming and water activities are more suitable in Summer. The area is not patrolled, so it is important to take care and not swim alone in bad weather.
To access Salmon Haul Reserve Cronulla, you can drive, bike, or use public transport. There is a car park with free parking options available. The reserve is around 10 minutes drive from Cronulla central business district. If using public transport, take the train to Cronulla station and then walk towards the Captain Cook Bridge. The reserve is located at the end of Mitchell Road on the left-hand side.
