Seven Hills Bushland Reserve

Located just 15 minutes southeast of Brisbane's CBD, Seven Hills Bushland Reserve is a 52-hectare bushland paradise.

The reserve is a predominantly open eucalypt forest with dry rainforest species and paperbarks that grow along Perrin Creek and in the moist gully lines throughout the reserve. The understorey is adorned with wildflower species and grass trees, making it an incredible and inimitable place to explore. The reserve is home to a plethora of birds, trees, and animals, including koalas, frilled lizards, scrub turkeys, silver eyes, and blue-winged butterflies.

The best way to experience Seven Hills Bushland Reserve is by taking a leisurely walk on one of the various walking trails. The reserve has something for everyone, from short but steep walks such as the Ridge Circuit to the longer Seven Hills Circuit. If you're a bird lover, Seven Hills Bushland Reserve is a great location for bird watching, with an extensive array of birdlife calling the reserve home.

The cooler months of the year, from March to October, are the best time to visit Seven Hills Bushland Reserve. The weather is mild, and the reserve is less crowded during this time. Visiting during the cooler months will allow you to experience all that the reserve has to offer without having to contend with the heat or the crowds.
