Shear Outback - Australian Shearer's Hall of Fame

The Shear Outback Facility consists of a variety of experiences including The Australian Shearers Hall of Fame, Shear Outback Exhibition, Historic Murray Downs Wool Shed, Gift Shop and Cafe.

Visitors meet the shearers, shedhands, sheep and dogs who work in the shearing and wool industries, and the experience is interactive, educational, entertaining, - and fun. Visitors can also experience first hand the stamina and training needed to shear a sheep, take on Jackie Howe’s legendary blade-shears record, see inside a working handpiece, take part in live shearing demonstrations several times daily, and more.
