Silvia Busetto, "Shion Art" is a contemporary artist who paints joyful, vibrant watercolours, transforming ordinary people and everyday scenes into protagonists of unique visual stories.

Watercolour was Silvia Busetto’s first true passion. She has spent the last 11 years living in Margaret River, dedicated to developing her style in this very challenging medium. “It’s meticulous, delicate and sensitive, it needs to be thoroughly planned, yet is notoriously unpredictable, fluid, full of wonderful accidents and is truly magical.”
Silvia paints joyful, vibrant watercolours, transforming everyday scenes and ordinary people, often based on her Italian culture, into protagonists of unique visual stories. Increasingly, as her work takes her to all corners of the southwest, she finds herself capturing little glimpses and heartwarming moments of everyday life throughout the Margaret River Region. Silvia works in a lovely light-filled corner of her living room, surrounding by paintings, her cats, and a beautiful garden view, full of bushes, trees and birds.
