Snobs Creek Falls in Eildon is a must-visit tourist spot that provides stunning views of the waterfall and its surroundings.
The viewing platform is fixed to a rock face offering an unobstructed view of the waterfall, which is a sight to behold. The falls and the moist eucalypt forest surrounding the area play host to a variety of ferns, mosses and fungi to make for an immersive natural experience.
The viewing platform at Snobs Creek Falls is installed on the side of the waterfall. It protrudes out and gives visitors a spectacular view of the falling water. Visitors can watch in amazement as the water plunges 20 meters into the creek below. The viewing platform is accessible via an easy grade 150-meter walk from the carpark, making it a delightful place for visitors of all ages and physical ability.
In addition to the viewing platform, Snobs Creek Falls also boasts a second short walking track that leads to the cascades, located around 100 meters upstream of the waterfall. The cascades consist of a series of small rock drops in quick succession. There is a wide curtain of water falling into the pool at the top of the cascades. It is an incredible sight and an excellent opportunity to take memorable photos.
The vegetation around Snobs Creek Falls is a lush, wet eucalypt forest, home to an array of ferns, mosses and fungi. The moist environment created by the falls makes it the perfect environment for these plants to thrive. Visitors will have the opportunity to see these plants up close and appreciate their unique beauty.
