Description
Less than an hour’s drive from Melbourne, their rustic cellar door sits at the gateway to the stunning Yarra Valley - the perfect first stop on your journey into wine country.
Established in 1862 as one of the first wineries in the region, St Hubert’s helped position the area as a premium wine-producing location and championed the Yarra Valley’s wine Renaissance in the 1960s.
As one of the pioneers of premium winemaking in the area, St Hubert’s is thrilled to have created an innovative cellar door experience that sets a benchmark for other tasting rooms.
Open seven days 10 am – 5 pm for tastings, bottle sales or simply a glass overlooking the vines. They also serve a small selection of local cheese and charcuterie to accompany your wine experience.
They recommend bookings but also welcome walk – in guests.
Under their roofline they also house the newest wine shop to the region, Notes, stocking up to seventy different wines from across Australia and their own brand of wines focusing on emerging varieties, or new winemaking techniques. These wines are free to taste whilst you browse the range in store.
