Stanley Estates - Award-winning Winery in Marlborough, New Zealand
Stanley Estates is a family-owned and sustainably accredited winery located in the Awatere Valley of Marlborough, New Zealand.
The winery is owned by Steve Pellett and Bridget Ennals, who emigrated from England to New Zealand in 2003 to plant the vineyard. The vineyards are situated in the north of New Zealand's South Island, under the cool gaze of Mount Tapuae-O-Uenuku, in Marlborough's spectacular Awatere Valley.
Wine Production and Awards
Stanley Estates produces a range of single-vineyard wines that showcase the unique characteristics of the region. The wines have luscious aromatics, mineral flavors, and tropical fruit notes. Stanley Estates is one of the premier wine producers in Marlborough, offering fresh, accessible, and boundary-pushing wines. The winery has won numerous major awards both domestically and internationally for its wines.
Sustainability
Sustainability is important to Stanley Estates, and the winery has been sustainably accredited since 2005. They view sustainability as the philosophy that underpins all activities on the vineyard, big or small, each growing season. Stanley Estates signed up early to the NZ Sustainable Winegrowing program as they believe it to be the basis and philosophy of their vineyard practices.
